Pay with a Tweet – A Social Payment System

In today’s world the value of people talking about your product is sometimes higher than the money you would get for it.

Pay with a Tweet is the first social payment system, where people pay with the value of their social network.

It’s simple, every time somebody pays with a tweet, he or she tells all their friends about the product – either on Twitter or Facebook.

Sell Your Product for a Tweet

Before you start selling your product for a tweet, you need to make sure that the file you want to sell is in a location that people can easily download from.

There are plenty of free and secure storage services.. I recommend using,

To sell your product for a tweet, you first need to fill out this form,

After clicking on <Create my Button>, the code of the download button is generated.

Just copy the code (or URL) and paste it where ever you want people to download your product.. and pay for it with a tweet,

Social Payment

After someone clicks on your <Pay with a Tweet> button (or URL), they will be given the option to pay by either,

• sending out a tweet
• posting on their Facebook wall

Paying with Twitter

If someone selects the Twitter payment option, they will need to allow Pay with a Tweet access to Twitter,

The tweet can be edited (but not the URL),

After they click on the <Post tweet and download now> button.. a confirmation will appear,

When they confirm by clicking on the <OK> button.. the tweet gets tweeted,

Finally, they get to download your file for free.. by clicking on the <Get it Now> button,

Paying with Facebook

If someone selects the Facebook payment option, they will need to sign in with Facebook,

Then allow Pay with a Tweet access to Facebook,

After they click on <Post on Facebook and download now> button.. a confirmation will appear,

When they confirm by clicking on the <OK> button.. this gets posted on their Facebook wall,

Finally, they get to download your file for free.. by clicking on the <Get it Now> button,
