You can now reply to Facebook email notifications directly from your inbox.. whether you are at work or on your phone.
Whenever you receive an email notification for comments on content such as status updates, photos, videos and wall posts.. you can just click Reply, type your comment and hit Send.
Your reply will automatically be added as a comment on Facebook without you having to login.
Email Notifications
To be able to do this you first need to enable email notifications.
Login to Facebook then click on Settings –> Account Settings,
Then click on the Notifications tab,
Now specify which notifications you want to receive via email,
Click on <Save Changes> when you are done,
If you want to change your email address click on the Settings tab.. then next to Email click on Change,
Replying to Comments through Email
Next time you receive an email notification that you want to reply to.. just click on Reply,
Type your message.. then hit Send,
Your reply comment will now appear on your wall,
Done!
You can now stay informed and contribute to what’s happening with your friends without having to be logged into Facebook.
