Great Tip and Easy to follow tutorial. This is a necessity, I believe, for anyone who is serious about promoting their private, or corporate, blog. Great Info, I will be sure to pass it on!

I love your tips, Matthew! I am still learning but when I tried to do this it wanted to merge with my profile, NOT my business page. Facebook forced me to create a personal profile just to get my vanity url. Is it possible to make my blog unite with my page instead?

  3. Beck says:

Great post – thanks heaps for this. Am in the process of including on my personal facebook page.

I pressing question I have is whether you are able to include our blog on our Zoo Studio fan page – that would be really powerful and useful for us as a small business. Is this the same process and possible?

  4. Great albums thanks for the share.

    Thanks Boss. It is helpful

  8. Hi Chris

I tested out the widget by pasting the NetworkedBlogs (javascript) widget code into my blog's sidebar and my followers successfully appear.

I noticed you are on Blogger and maybe Blogger doesn't support Javascript.

If this is the case you will have to grab the HTML code. From within your NetworkedBlogs page on FB, click on “Widget”… then click on “Use our badge instead” link.

Then try pasting this HTML code into your blog.. that may work.

I am aware that comments don't flow back out to your blog.. I'm not sure if there is a solution to this as yet.

You could ask them directly networkedblogs@ninua.com or via http://twitter.com/networkedblogs

    Hope that helps.

    Matt

Thanks. This is helpful. I have noticed though that people who are on facebook and choose to subscribe to my blog through networedblogs are appearently able to do so, but they do not show up on the widget on the blog. Also, any comments regarding the blog that are posted via face book are only seen by others using facebook and do not get fed back to the original blog site. Is there any way to fix these issues?

  10. M@tt says:

Thanks for the comment Nia.. glad this post helped you out somewhat.

    Have a great day!

    Matt

  11. nia says:

Thank you so much. Great information!

  12. M@tt says:

Sorry I don't know.. maybe direct this question to NetworkedBlogs as they might be able to provide an answer to your question.

    Thanks
    Matt

  14. Good guide, although I seem to have a problem. Whenever I try to post a new entry on my FB wall through NetworkedBlogs (as in, posting on the wall and activating NB), it recognizes my blog but not any new posts.

Any idea on why this is happening?

Oops, never mind. Figured it out. :)

  18. Jim says:

Matthew, this is great. Thanks. I have a problem integrating the blog into my profile though. When I click on the “+” button, there's no Blog choice. I tried searching through Facebook applications to add it but I get a transcription error. Any ideas? The rest of it worked perfectly though.
