How to Download Facebook Photo Albums
Facebook, Photos and Video, Social Media — By Matthew Tommasi on 8 July 2009 1:00 am
You can easily download your friend’s Facebook albums, event albums and group albums with the click of a button.
The two requirements you need are the Firefox browser and the FacePAD plugin.
To get started go to the FacePAD (Facebook Photo Album Downloader) plugin page and add this plugin to Firefox, then restart your browser,

Now login to Facebook,

Now browse to a friend’s photo album you wish to download.
Right-click on the name of the photo album and select Download Album with FacePAD,

Facebook’s photo albums only contain 20 pictures per page.. so the FacePAD application will only download 20 at a time.
Click on <OK> to download the first 20 photos,

Continue clicking <OK> for each successive pop-up to download 20 more photos at a time..
These photos will be downloaded to your default download location,

Done!
It has never been so simple to download Facebook photo albums.
Enjoy!

Hi
Thanks for the comment, but I didn't actually develop it. And yes you can
only download 20 photos at a time.
If the <OK> button doesn't appear for you, try checking that your browser
isn't blocking pop-ups.
Cheers
Matt

Great program! Thanks so much for developing it! I am attempting to bulk download some 1200 pictures in some 65 albums from from my deceased daughter's facebook so that I can archive them on a separate website dedicated to her life and memory. I was thrilled when a relative found your program for me. However, it is only downloading the first 20 pictures of each album. I know that your instructions said to be patient and keep clicking ok, but the ok button doesn't reappear for me. I have repeated it several times and the same thing, it is just downloading the first 20. Any suggestions? Thanks again.
Open disclosure – I am connected with SocialSafe which I refer to below.
A good plugin as it is free. An alternate, as it allows you to download with a single button press all photos you have and all you are tagged in, is SocialSafe which can be found at http://www.socialsafe.net – though there is a $2.99 application charge. The app also downloads other data
It seems a lot easier to download photos. Will try.
