    Hi Kelly

I have done up another post here
    http://thesocialmediaguide.com.au/2009/06/21/ne...

The NetworkedBlogs application also allows you to pull your blog into your
    business page.

My blog is pulled into my personal profile and my business page.. so I am
assuming if you have a business page only then this application should also
work (even if you don't have a personal profile).

Try it out and let me know how you go.

    Cheers
    Matt

  4. Hi M@tt

Thanks for looking into it, I actually did find a recent blog from one of the programmers of the plugin. He has posted a somewhat update but encouraging others to update the plugin, as he doesn't have time himself.

Here is the url for the blog: http://heroinc.org/2009/07/29/0-38d-facebook-co...

    Hi Valgeir

I have had a look around and could only find the plugin that you mentioned above.

I haven't been able to find any other plugins that allow the importing of FB comments into WordPress.

    Regards
    Matt

    Hi Mauro

You could maybe try syncing your Facebook events with Google Calendar here http://thesocialmediaguide.com.au/2009/05/24/ho...

Then you could try importing your Google Calendar into WordPress using this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-cale...

    That may help

    Hi Dr Mani

Thanks for the comment.. maybe checkout my other post http://thesocialmediaguide.com.au/2009/06/21/ne... as this application may allow you to import more than one blog into Facebook.

    Thanks
    Matt

I've just released a WordPress plugin for people who'd like to share excerpts only with Facebook. It also includes a message with a link leading visitors to your blog post to read the rest: http://www.keyvan.net/code/feed-facebook-leave-...

This is probably useful for WordPress users who are happy to provide full-text feeds but aren't happy with Facebook republishing the full-text content.

  9. has anyone here figured out how to import comments from facebook back to your blog?

  10. M@tt says:

    Hi Valgeir

    Thanks for the comment.
I will have a dig around and see what I can find regarding exporting comments back to your site.

    Regards
    Matt

  11. Hihi…

Want to start of by telling you that is an excellent guide on how to import a blog into Facebook.

But I was wondering if you did now anything about how to export comments on the notes back to your original website. I know there was a plugin built for this, but it doesn't work after one was able to get your own personal address.

Here is a link to the plugin; http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/facebook-co...

If you know of any other way to export them I would be very gracious.

    Sincerly

  13. Is there any plugin or way to import facebook events or invitation in WordPress?
    Thank you.

  14. M@tt says:

I have installed a commenting system by Disqus http://disqus.com/.. which replaces the default WordPress comment system.

It is far more powerful and allows visitors to post comments under their FB, Twitter or Disqus logins.

    I totally recommend it

  15. How did you get the three icons from Dprofile, facebook, twitter to show up under your ” Add New Comment” section? Thanks…

  16. Dr.Mani says:

It took me a while to figure this out when I first imported my blog, thanks for a simple, easy tutorial.

The one thing thar irks me is that only one blog can be imported.

“You can import posts from one external blog so that they appear along with your notes. Facebook will automatically update your notes whenever you write in your blog. Imported blog posts cannot be edited.”

Anyone know of a workaround to pull in multiple blogs? Kind of like iGoogle lets you pull feeds from mutiple blogs into your homepage?

    All success
    Dr.Mani

i have to admit that it's a little tedious, because for the best display in your fans news feeds you have to manually share posts each time. Still, it seems worth it to me. Here's an example of how it looks http://www.facebook.com/pages/Material-Girls/30...

you can set it up to manually share with each new blog post too, but you have to sacrifice photos in the posts.

  18. M@tt says:

Keep an eye out on my blog.. I will do a post about this.

  19. M@tt says:

Thanks Ben for the heads up about Networked Blogs.. I didn't know about this service.

  20. Jim says:

Ben, can you provide a link so I can see what this looks like? I don't like using the Notes version because I want the traffic to go back to my blog, not read the post on Facebook. At the moment I use bit.ly to shorten the post URL and “share” it from there. It's certainly easy enough, but it's a couple of extra steps that should be done automatically when I upload the post. So far I haven't been able to find anything like that for Facebook. Maybe Networked Blogs is it, but I can't find any screen shots to show me what it does.

    Thanks, Jim

  21. spryka says:

The greatest benefit of Facebook is that it has many groups on the site that you can join. So if you are interested in Chicago Cubs you can research Chicago Cubs in the groups section and you will be able to find friends on there that like the Cubs. This is just one example, I know that you can join groups of your favorite football team, television show, or whatever you want for the most part! If you can't find a group for your interest, you can simply create one!

  22. ben says:

actually, there's a better option for doing this for Facebook Pages through using the Networked Blogs application. It allows you to share the posts (with pictures) to all of your fans. The posts also look more appealing on your wall.
